DIRECTIONS

DELIMING DISH MACHINES:

  • Fill tank to 2 to 3 inches below overflow.
  • Turn on tank heaters.
  • Add 1 gallon of LIME BE GONE and run machine until lime scale disappears.
  • Apply full strength where spray does not reach.
  • Scrape away heavy lime build up.
  • Drain tank.
  • Refill with fresh water. Run machine 5 minutes and drain.
  • Delime as necessary to prevent the reoccurrence of lime scale.

DELIING STEAM TABLES:

  • Brush or spray LIME BE GONE full strength on interior surfaces.
  • Let stand 10 minutes then fill with water.
  • Turn on heat and bring to operating temperature.
  • Let stand another 10 minutes.
  • Brush or scrape off remaining deposits.
  • Drain and flush thoroughly with fresh water.

DESCALING COFFEE URNS:

  • Fill urn with hot water.
  • Add 1 to 2 ounces of LIME BE GONE per gallon of hot water.
  • Heat and let stand for 15 minutes.
  • Drain and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

ALUMINUM EQUIPMENT:

  • Soak utensils in solution of 3 ounces of LIME BE GONE per gallon of hot water, until bright.
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water and drain dry.
  • For large items, apply solution with a saturated cloth or sponge.
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Avoid prolonged contact with aluminum.
